Chanel's globalized world

Globalization. I would say, the most powerful process happening now around the Globe. People moving constantly from one country to another, blending ideas into different cultural backgrounds and reproducing this way the world before Babel, form the base of an evolving platform. One of the major fields where we can see the emergence of globalization is fashion. If not long ago, the only capitals that mattered fashion wise were Paris, New York, Milan and London, now we can talk about what a big influence countries like Brazil, India, Japan, China have over big designer names.
One of them is Karl Lagerfeld  who designed for Pre-Fall 2012 an entire collection named 'Paris-Bombay' based on the Indian sari dress and jewellery. Can I please have No.1?
